What happens when everyone else [including Kumawood] can replicate the sort of finishing you get from a Ramesh or a Russell produced ad that we so earnestly seek? You know – the RED camera shot, filtered, beautifully colour graded, dadabee looking ads? How will ads standout? What’s going to be the point of differentiation for 2 telco ads that are selling the exact same proposition, in the same timed TV spot on the same media schedule?
Plot twist – those 2 telcos are Airtel and Vodafone, so colour filter preferences are the same, and they’re both shot by the same production house, and are both casting young, beautiful Legon/Tech people and are both targeted at the same audience?
